How it works

This tool implements the SM-2 spaced repetition algorithm, the same method used by Anki. Each card gets a personal schedule based on how well you recalled it.

SM-2 intervals Rate each card 0–3. Easy cards reappear in days; hard cards come back sooner. Over time, intervals grow to weeks.
No account needed All decks are saved in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to a server. Clear your browser data and it's gone — export CSV to back up.
Quizlet import In Quizlet: Export → use tab separator → copy text. Paste directly into the "Paste text" box here.
Quiz mode Tests you with 4 multiple-choice options built from your own deck. Great for exam prep alongside flashcard review.

Rate buttons: Again (0) — completely forgot · Hard (1) — recalled with effort · Good (2) — recalled correctly · Easy (3) — instant recall.

Frequently asked questions

How do I import my Quizlet flashcards here?
In Quizlet, open your set, click the three-dot menu → Export → choose Tab as the term delimiter and Newline as the card delimiter → copy the text. Come back here, create a new deck, and paste that text into the "Paste text" box. Every card imports automatically with no reformatting needed. Alternatively, if you have Quizlet's CSV export, use the "Import CSV" tab and upload the file directly.
Is this tool really free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. This tool is completely free and requires no account. Your flashcard data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB — it never leaves your device. There are no ads, no email sign-ups, and no premium tiers. The only limitation is that decks are tied to your current browser and device; use the CSV export button to back up or move your decks.
What is SM-2 spaced repetition and why does it matter?
SM-2 (SuperMemo 2) is the algorithm behind Anki and most effective flashcard systems. Instead of showing every card equally, it schedules each card to reappear just before you are likely to forget it. Cards you find easy are shown less often; cards you struggle with come back sooner. This dramatically reduces study time while improving long-term retention — typically 90%+ recall with a fraction of the review sessions compared to random shuffling.
What format do I use when pasting cards?
One card per line. Separate the front (term) from the back (definition) with either a tab character or a comma. Tab is the default Quizlet export format and is preferred because it handles definitions that contain commas. Example: mitosis[tab]cell division producing two identical daughter cells. If your text uses commas and no commas appear inside definitions, comma-separated works fine too.
Can I study on my phone? Will my decks be saved?
Yes. The tool is fully mobile-optimized. Decks are saved in your browser's IndexedDB, so they persist between sessions on the same device and browser. Switching to a different browser or clearing browser data will erase them — use the "Export CSV" button to save a backup file you can re-import anytime.
How does the 4-choice quiz mode work?
Quiz mode shows you the front of a card and presents four possible answers drawn from your deck. One is correct; the other three are randomly selected distractors. This tests active recall in a multiple-choice format, which is excellent for exam preparation. Your quiz performance also feeds into the SM-2 schedule: a correct answer counts as "Good" and an incorrect answer as "Again."
