Frequently asked questions

Is my data private? Where is it stored?
All entries are stored in your browser's IndexedDB โ€” local storage that never leaves your device. No data is transmitted to any server, so your loved one's health information stays entirely private. Use the JSON backup button to save a copy to your own files and transfer between devices.
What does the PDF care report include?
The PDF lists every entry in chronological order for your chosen date range, grouped by type (medication, vitals, meals, toileting). It includes the resident's name if you enter one, the date range covered, and a timestamp of when the report was generated. It's formatted to be readable by nurses, home health aides, and physicians.
Can I use this for multiple patients or family members?
The tool currently stores one log in your browser. For multiple people, use the JSON backup to download the current person's records, then clear the log and begin the next person's entries. The exported JSON files can be re-imported later to review past records. Alternatively, use a separate browser profile for each person.
What vitals can I track?
You can record systolic and diastolic blood pressure (mmHg), pulse rate (bpm), body temperature (ยฐF or ยฐC), and oxygen saturation / SpO2 (%). Each vital reading is time-stamped and plotted on the 7-day trend chart so you can notice patterns and share them with the care team.
Can I delete individual entries?
Yes. Every entry on the daily log shows a small Delete button on the right. Click it to permanently remove that record. The summary counts and trend chart update immediately. Deleted entries cannot be recovered unless you have a JSON backup.
