How it works

All processing uses the HTML5 Canvas API inside your browser. Images never leave your device — this tool works offline after first load.

Drag multiple product photos or click to pick files. JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC are supported. Duplicate filenames are skipped automatically.

Step 2

Choose a preset

Pick your marketplace (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, Walmart, eBay) or enter a custom pixel size. The target size is applied to both width and height.

Step 3

Center crop or pad

Center crop trims the longer side equally so the image fills the square frame. Pad places the full image on a solid-color canvas with equal margins — choose any pad color.

Step 4

Two-step resize

If the source is more than 2× the target, the tool halves it first, then scales to final size. This two-pass approach preserves edge sharpness better than a single-step downscale.

Step 5

Encode JPEG or PNG

Canvas output is encoded at your chosen quality (JPEG) or losslessly (PNG). JPEG 90–95% is the sweet spot for marketplace listings.

All processed images are bundled into one ZIP. Files are named prefix-001.jpg, …, starting at the number you specify.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Amazon require a pure white background?

Amazon's product image guidelines mandate a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255 — not "almost white" or light gray) for the main (MAIN) image. Any off-white shade causes automatic listing suppression in Amazon's image quality scanner. Secondary lifestyle and detail images can have any background. Use Pad to square mode here with the white swatch selected to place your product on an exactly #FFFFFF canvas before resizing.
What is the best image size for Etsy listings?

Etsy recommends at least 2000 pixels on the shortest side. Listing thumbnails are automatically cropped to a square 1:1 ratio, so a 2000 × 2000 px image avoids any automatic trimming by Etsy's thumbnail engine. Secondary listing photos can be non-square (Etsy displays them in landscape), but the search thumbnail will still be cropped square — so centering your product vertically is important for all images.
Will "Center crop" cut off my product?

Center crop trims equal amounts from both sides of the longer dimension, keeping the geometric center of the image. If your product is centered in the frame, this is ideal. If your product is near an edge or occupies the full frame, switch to Pad to square — the entire original image is preserved and placed on a colored canvas with equal margins on all sides. No part of the product is cut.
JPEG vs PNG — which should I use for marketplace listings?

JPEG is the standard for marketplace product listings: at 90–95% quality a 2000 × 2000 px image is typically 300–600 KB — well under Amazon's 10 MB and Etsy's 20 MB limits — with sharp edges and accurate color. PNG is lossless and larger (often 2–5×), but is useful when you need to preserve fine transparency or hand off images to a designer without quality loss. For published listings, JPEG 92% is almost always the right choice.
How many images can I process at once?

There is no hard limit built in. In practice, processing speed depends on your browser and available RAM. Most modern laptops handle 30–50 high-resolution product photos without issue. If you have hundreds of images, process them in batches of 30–50 for reliability. The ZIP downloads automatically when all images are processed.
Do my images get uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API and JSZip library. Your image files are read from your local disk into browser memory, processed there, and the resulting ZIP is saved back to your disk — all without any network request. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will continue to work.
